With everyone talking about the game to play at mcd right now, is that where I should spend most of my time?
Still spending most of the time just sweating left some pretty gross smells in my car, all of the fast food coupons didn't help. I ate there and like to play at mcd and continued working the same job I was in Milwaukee. I had just transferred. The area we lived was pacific beach. The girls, the weather, and the beach were all gorgeous. I had never been in such a happy place I could now call home and never eaten so well as when I would play at mcd. My first two weeks on the job, I had two huge sales and things were really starting to look up.
While I was doing my best work, the economy was doing her worst. After about 6 months in San Diego, mine and Steve’s old friend Ned came to move in with us. I had always had trust issues with Ned, but the three of us had fun together and Ned was always good at initiating conversations with business contacts as well as girls. Ned stayed with us for about 3 months before heading off to the mountains and local recruitment market crashed which meant no more play at mcd for me. Steve had always worked with online marketing and while I had some knowledge, it was very limited. He had been showing me the ropes and In October of 2008, I quit my recruiting job so as to save myself from getting fired with the rest of my branch.
We started working in online marketing and had a lot of things go well for us. We also had the constant panic of the biggest playatmcd.com sales coming from one source and never knowing where the next source of our income would be from. We worked with some clients in the beginning before really doing things on our own.
